How do you spell Warped Tour? E-M-O

weilandemo1.jpgGet your studded belts, skinny jeans and eyeliner ready. The Vans Warped Tour has released their 2007 lineup which includes the emo-tastic sounds of Hawthorne Heights, Coheed and Cambria, Yellowcard, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and many many more. This year marks the 13th anniversary of the tour that will showcase more than 80 bands in a 45-day run. For a full-length article on the tour click here. Find tour dates at Pollstar. Oh and Velvet Revolver IS NOT playing the Warped Tour. This is just the emo-est picture I could find on the wire. But seriously? Who says Scott Weiland isn’t emo? He’s rockin’ the studded belt, mime-inspired shirt and skinny jeans. And Slash…well…he’s wearing black. He’s practically goth!

To discuss how un-emo Scott Weiland is, the very definition of emo, or how un-emo the Warped Tour is, comment below.

Scott Weiland is the Emo-ist M-effer I’ve ever heard or seen. Armando stop being so retarded. You can’t put him on a pedestool when it’s obvious that Fall Out Boy holds their own when it comes to you rock music grandeur. Their songs are powerful and epic, compared to the paltry stylings of Velvet Revolver or even STP. Served!

  • Armando says:

You cannot relate Scott to these EMO bands at all!! There is no way that I can picture Fall Out Boy or Hawthorne Heights doing an album like 12 Bar Blues, they don’t have that type of talent. Anyways, I know that Fall Out Boy is The Backstreet Boys in disguise!

Who said there is anything wrong with emo? Wait, screaming 13 year-old girls right out of a Hot Topic catalog . . . nevermind. BTW Slash is cool if only for the fact that he is still alive.

The Warped Tour is so silly. The really good bands won’t do it. I remember reading that they begged Be Your Own Pet to do the Warp Tour and they were like, “Whatev, we’re gonna tour with Sonic Youth.”
