All right people. I need a word with you.
I’m talking about my fellow American Idol watchers. Now it’s clear you all seem to be having a cute little love affair with Sangria…I mean Sanjaya Malakar, but it needs to stop right now. Nevermind the fact that he lacks any talent, never seems to stop smiling, and seems to be oblivious to the fact that we can barely hear anything coming out of his mouth. Nevermind all that. What bothers me about this boy still being in the the top 11 is the fact that you’re making America look like a bunch of grandmas! (Not that grandmas are a bad thing. They give you money and bake you cookies and always think you should eat more cause you’re sooo skinny.) But seriously, no wonder the rest of the world hates America. We seem to be supporting the desecration of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” We need to redeem ourselves from the Taylor Hicks incident and make a Ruben Studdard-sized comeback! We need to do what’s right people. And that means stopping with the “poor little Sanjaya, he’s so cute and he likes to hula dance” thoughts!
