Estelle reminds me of Lauryn Hill. She’s got that great mix of hip-hop and r&b all rolled into one shiny package. Her single “American Boy” with Kanye West put her album “Shine” on the map. Solange Knowles, also known as Beyonce’s little sis, has released the first single off her sophomore album. The song is called “I Decided.” It’s a ditty that sounds like it could comfortably fit on the “Dreamgirls” soundtrack. With the do-wop style and Supremes vibe, the song is a gem. And the video is a trippy history lesson.
