Oh my Gaaaah! Britney’s first single off her new album “Circus,” scheduled to be released December 2, just leaked. FINALLY. After spending last Friday night listening to a German radio station who reportedly was going to debut the new single and DID NOT, this is kind of a treat! (Yes, I am insane and have no life.) But it’s also completely anti-climactic and underwhelming. I mean….this song is kind of meh. It starts off pretty promising but the chorus is kind of …. blah. I know, I can’t think of any real words to describe it. It sounds exactly like “Ooh Ooh Baby” off of her previous album “Blackout.” The choppy chorus, which is “Boy don’t try to front I I know just just what you are are are,” makes her sound like she has a stuttering problem. And she says the word “womanizer” a total of 587387 times. Isn’t the the first single supposed to be the best song on the album? If this is all you’ve got Britney, then I’m worried. Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and a popular disc jockey were critically injured in a Learjet Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said the plane carrying six people was departing shortly before midnight Friday when air traffic controllers reporting seeing sparks. The plane went off a runway and crashed on a nearby road, she said. Hospital spokeswoman Beth Frits said Barker and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, were in critical condition at a burn center in Augusta, Ga., about 75 miles southwest of Columbia. Two other passengers and two crew members died, said the National Transportation Safety Board. Their identities were not immediately available. Barker and Goldstein, who perform together under the name TRVSDJ-AM, played a free concert in Columbia’s college neighborhood Friday night. “It’s absolutely terrible and tragic,” Columbia Mayor Bob Coble said. A representative for Barker and DJ AM said she had no information the crash. After Blink 182, Barker went on to form the rock band (+44) - pronounced “plus forty-four.” He starred in the MTV reality series “Meet the Barkers” with former Miss USA Shanna Moakler, to whom he was married at the time. The show documented the former couple’s lavish wedding and life. Goldstein at one time was engaged to celebrity Nicole Richie. Elvis Presley’s peacock jumpsuit was auctioned off for $300,000 today making it the most expensive piece of Elvis memorabilia ever auctioned. The person who won the suit went unknown but I’d put my money on Lisa Marie Presley. The baby momma is going to need some maternity wear soon so why not blanket the twins with something grandpa used to love. Am I right people? Nevertheless, I couldn’t help imagining owning one of these. What the hell does someone do with a peacock jumpsuit? Well my friends, I’ve put a lot of thought into it and I’ve come up with my own list of peacock jumpsuit ideas. 1) Wear it to the zoo. Our local Gladys Porter Zoo has peacocks running around all over the place. If anyone would appreciate this design, it would be them. 2) Get married in it. Women everywhere have said the most expensive item in their wardrobe is their wedding dress. Why not use a peacock jumpsuit?! It totally ties in a great teal peacock theme. 3) Birdwatching. This thing would bring in the motherload for sure. But you might want to wear a transparent poncho. Birds get jealous and they might want to unload on your glittery feathers. 4) Wear it to work. If there’s one thing I know about going to work in regular clothes, it’s that you have to go home and change into “going out” clothes when people invite you for drinks afterwards. If you haven’t heard, Noel Gallagher criticized Jay-Z’s headline slot at Glastonbury. The Oasis guitarist said he was not happy that a rapper was headling a rock festival. Jay-Z retorted with a cover of Wonderwall. He continued the feud last night at Madison Square Garden where he started off a song with:
Ain’t that genius? then he added a line of from Oasis’ biggest hit “Wonderwall.” Gallagher, who graces the cover of NME this week has since addressed the feud as well. Noel says:
